About
This "dark comedy about the dark ages" tells the story of the Monks of Priseaux whose holy relics are no longer bringing in the pilgrims; Jack & Marie, minstrels who are married "in the eyes of all but the church and the law!"; Marie's mother, a peasant woman who will sell anything or anyone; and Abbess Agatha who is competing with the monks for pilgrims (and especially their donations). In this fast-paced, perfect for summer, farce all converge on Priseaux looking for money or miracles or -- better yet -- both.
