Sweet Surrender combines theatre, jazz and R&B
to share one woman’s journey that will lead her to shed the
ever present, all American, materialistic, gender biased, false
image. As a result of learning how to breathe in the moment and
connect to a higher power, Susan was able to let go of her obsession
for the material world and embrace the spiritual element of life.
This will give you a humorous, touching and sometimes painful look
into the heart and brain of a woman in the 21st century.
About Susan Faucon
Susan Faucon has a varied and full spectrum of performance history.
She’s sung and acted here on the East Coast, as well as in
Nashville and Los Angeles. She has performed extensively on stage
and for TV and films. Her voice is clean, rich, and unique. Her
acting is dynamic and real. She also has a full range of writing
experience, although Sweet Surrender is her first
attempt as a playwright. Her themes are focused on the ever-stubborn
human condition: Self-absorption, hate, greed, love, sex, if this
or that happens then I’ll be happy, and spiritual transformation.

“I believe that the most powerful form of connection and
healing is to share our experience with each other. Music happens
to be my vehicle for doing this. It doesn’t make me special
or unique, it’s just my way. Your way might be different,
but it’s equally effective. I hope you enjoy my words and
melodies, but most of all, I hope they help you heal.”
